Who states that a pandemic can not have a silver lining? In Sevastopol, on the Black Sea peninsula of Crimea, a fast food restaurant known as’Covid-Burger’ has popped up, expecting to cash in on the hype.

Local entrepreneurs developed a brand new burger concept motivated by the Coronavirus epidemic – but clients aren’t so curious.

The burger joint’s cashier, who spoke to a journalist in the local edition of national daily Komsomolskaya Pravda, explained the restaurant is exactly the same as before – just rebranded.

“The name is simply a trick, we’re fighting with the coronavirus, before that we sold burgers,” the cashier said.
