A number associated with former employees alleged that The Ellen Show was a ‘toxic’ workplace, with accusations including accounts of intimidation and racism .

Speaking to Mr. Warburton magazine , Anne admitted she had not ‘ spoken to Ellen in years’ but she suggested people should ‘ listen to those who have’ been around the star recently.

The particular 51-year-old Donnie Brasco star continued: ‘ If I’m standing someplace and I don’t like what’s going on there and I stay there, it’s my fault.

‘ So what are the actions that got me there and why can’t I get out of it easily if that’s not something that I want to be engaged in? ’

She added: ‘ Ellen is standing where she walks, and that is hers to continue that journey. ’

But Anne spoke highly of her ex as she admitted that the period they dated was a ‘ beautiful part’ of her life.
