Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany has contradicted recent reports that she has been cast as She-Hulk in Marvel’s upcoming Disney Plus show.

Sadly, Marvel hasn’t found its She-Hulk yet.

In September, reports circulated that seemingly confirmed that Maslany had been cast as Jennifer Walters – aka She-Hulk.

Speaking to Regina Leader-Post, Maslany denied the report outright, saying: ‘That actually isn’t a real thing and it’s like a press release that’s gotten out of hand.

‘It’s totally not — I’ve been connected to these things in the past and press has gotten onto it, but it’s not actually a thing, unfortunately.’

When pressed on the validity of the reports, Maslany added: ‘Yeah, I don’t know how these things get — I don’t know, I don’t know. You know better; I have no idea.’

Thus far, despite reports running rampant, Marvel has not officially confirmed Maslany as She-Hulk.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Kat Coiro is on to direct and executive produce, and Mark Ruffalo will be returning as the Hulk himself.

She-Hulk doesn’t have a firm release date yet, but early reports suggest the show is aiming for a 2022 release date on Disney’s streaming service.

It will follow Falcon and The Winter Soldier and WanadaVision as one of Marvel’s big pushes on Disney Plus.
